Inviting Contacts to donate and share your Fundit! Organization

Fundit! makes it easy to invite your friends and family to donate and share your fundraiser. Follow the steps below to begin adding your contacts.
Gather a list of emails for all your friends and family
The easiest way to invite contacts is via email. Simply collect the email addresses from friends and family members that would be interested in participating in the fundraiser, and then you’re ready to proceed to Step 2 below.Invite your contacts
Now that you have a list of email addresses, it’s time to send invites. Each contact you add will receive a personalized notification email that informs them of your fundraising campaign.

When you are in your fundraising dashboard, go to the “My Contacts” tab, where you will find a button to “Add Contact.” Click on the button to move to the next screen, where you will enter the person’s details.
You have 3 options for how you add contacts to your fundraiser.
You may add contacts individually by entering their Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
Note: Email Address is a required field for all contacts.

You may add multiple contacts at once by pasting email addresses into the input field. Each email must be separated by a comma.
Example: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]

You may import a file containing your list of contacts.
Note: The allowed file types are CSV, XLS, and TXT. (Your import data should be comma or tab separated)
Once you have selected your upload file, you’ll need to select which column from your file to use as Name, Email Address, and Phone Number

Keep track of your contacts with our stats
Fundit! will send up to 4 emails to each contact you invite.
- Email 1: At the time of invitation (This email is only sent if there is at least 1 hour remaining before your campaign ends)
- Email 2: 2 days after the first invitation (This email is only sent if there is at least 2 weeks remaining before your campaign ends)
- Email 3: 7 days before your campaign ends (This email is only sent if there is at least 7 days remaining before your campaign ends)
- Email 4: 1 day before your campaign ends (This email is only sent if there is at least 1 day remaining before your campaign ends)

You contacts can unsubscribe from these emails at any time. If a contact completes a donation for your campaign, they will no longer receive reminder emails.
You’ll have the ability to view which emails your contact has received and whether or not they have opened the email, clicked a link in the email, or viewed your fundraiser page.
